    As we celebrate the 4th of July, we want to thank you for being a part of our culinary journey. Today, we’re bringing a classic American favorite to your table - a delicious, juicy burger that’s perfect for your Independence Day cookout!

    ❂ Ingredients:

    Ground Beef (75/25 ground beef - 80 percent lean, 20 percent fat(sirloin steak works just fine ))
    Hamburger Potato Buns
    Onion
    American Cheese
    Pickles
    Salt/Pepper
    For sauce: Ketchup, Mayo, Mustard, Relish, minced onion, smoked paprika.

    ❂ Ingredients For Burger Potato Buns:

    Quick Mash
    ⁃ ~200g potato, peeled and cut
    ⁃ 1 Tbsp unsalted butter
    ⁃ 2-3 Tbsp milk
    Dough
    ⁃ 120-130g mashed potatoes, room temp
    ⁃ 560g Flour
    ⁃ 810g active yeast
    ⁃ 45g granulated sugar
    ⁃ 2 Tsp salt
    ⁃ 55g. unsalted butter, softened
    ⁃ 1 large egg, room temp
    ⁃ 240g (1 cup) milk, room temp
    For the top:
    ⁃ Egg
    ⁃ Sesame seeds

    ❂ Buns Cooking process:

    ⁃ Mix the wet ingredients first, then the dry ingredients, and then combine them into a food processor.
    ⁃ Mix on med-low speed until everything comes together into one mass.
    ⁃ Reduce speed and knead until smooth and elastic, around10-12 mins.
    ⁃ Turn dough onto counter and shape into smooth ball.
    ⁃ Cover and let proof for ~1 hour, until doubled in size.
    ⁃ Turn out and press out any air. Divide into 12 equal portions which weigh around 85-90g each.
    ⁃ Shape into 12 balls. Lightly press each dough ball flat.
    ⁃ Place on lined baking sheet, spacing 1” apart.
    ⁃ Cover and proof until doubled in size, 1-1.5 hours.
    ⁃ Pre-heat oven to 375F.
    ⁃ Before baking, brush with egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
    ⁃ Bake for 18-20 min until tops are golden and interior temp is 200F.
    ⁃ Let cool 5-10 minutes before serving.

    ❂ Ingredients:

    230 grams of dried chickpeas
    1/2 tsp baking soda
    1 tsp salt
    180g. tahini
    Juice of half a lemon
    2 garlic cloves
    1 tsp cumin
    Salt and pepper to taste
    2-3 Tbsp Ice water
    Toppings: roasted garlic, smoked paprika, and parsley, olive oil

    ❂ Cooking process:

    Soak the Chickpeas:
    - Soak 230 grams of dried chickpeas overnight in plenty of water.
    Cook the Chickpeas:
    - Drain the soaked chickpeas and place them in a large pot.
    - Add enough water to cover the chickpeas, and stir in 1/2 tsp of baking soda and 1 tsp of salt.
    - Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to a simmer.
    - Skim off any foam that forms on the surface.
    - Cook for about 40 minutes, or until the chickpeas are very soft and the skins start to separate.
    Prepare the Chickpeas:
    - Drain the chickpeas
    - Remove the skins from the chickpeas by gently rubbing them.
    Blend the Hummus:
    - Place the chickpeas in a food processor and blend them slightly.
    - Add 180g. tahini, the juice of half a lemon, 2 garlic cloves, and 1 tsp of cumin.
    - Season with salt and pepper to taste.
    - Blend the mixture, gradually adding ice water until you achieve a smooth and creamy consistency.
    Serve:
    - Garnish with roasted garlic, smoked paprika, chopped parsley and naan.
